After you install

First five minutes.

    Sign into Google Drive

    Walkthrough asks for Drive access once. Your recordings live in a folder under your account.

  2. 02

    Pick a hotkey

    Choose a start/stop shortcut. Most people land on a two-modifier combo that doesn't collide.

  3. 03

    Record something small

    Try a thirty-second clip first. Make sure the upload completes and the share link works.

Privacy note

What the app can access.

Only the folder we create

Walkthrough requests a scoped Google Drive permission. It can only read and write inside the folder it creates — not the rest of your Drive.

No server-side recording

Your video never touches a Walkthrough server. Upload goes directly from your machine to your Drive.
